Why I Built This Site
In 2014 the police service was going through one of the hardest periods I can remember. Pay was being cut. Pensions were being restructured. Officers who had given decades to the job were suddenly worse off than when they started. I was one of them.
I had 17 years under my belt at that point — serving as a Sergeant across response, support group and custody, posted to some of the toughest areas in the country. I knew what it took to do this job. And I knew how little recognition officers were getting financially for doing it.
So I started Police Discount Offers. Not as a business project. As something practical I could do — find the deals, verify them, and make them easy to access for every officer, PCSO, Special, staff member and their families.

My Police Career
I served for over 17 years in the UK police service, being promoted to Sergeant and working across response, support group and custody — posted to some of the most demanding environments in the country. That experience gave me a deep understanding of what officers actually need — not what looks good in a press release.
I know what it’s like to be on your feet for 12 hours needing boots that won’t let you down. I know what it’s like to rely on a torch in a dark building. I know what the police family actually spends money on — and where they should be saving it.
Early Career
Joined the UK police service on response, working in some of the most challenging areas in the country.
Mid Career
Promoted to Sergeant. Served in support group, custody and response — gaining experience across some of the most demanding operational environments in UK policing.

Founded Police Discount Offers during a period of significant cuts to police pay and pensions — wanting to help the wider police family save money.
